Vasostrict® (vasopressin injection) is now available in ready-to-use 100mL premix bottles.
According to Endo, the new formulation is expected to save preparation time and may also reduce the chance for errors as there is no diluting or transferring required. Vasostrict is indicated for increasing blood pressure in adults with vasodilatory shock who remain hypotensive despite fluids and catecholamines.

The ready-to-use product has a 2-year shelf life, with up to 12 months at room temperature.
Par Sterile Products, a division of Endo International, has begun shipping the new product.
Vasostrict continues to be supplied in 1mL (20 units/mL) single dose vials and 10mL (200 units/10mL) multidose vials.
