Vi-Jon, LLC is voluntarily recalling 1 lot of CVS Magnesium Citrate Saline Laxative Oral Solution Lemon Flavor, 10 fl oz (296mL) due to microbial contamination with Gluconacetobacter liquefaciens, a Gram-negative bacterium.

The affected product lot includes the following batch number: 0556808 and expiration date: 12/2023; it was distributed nationwide at CVS drug store locations. 

At this time, there have been no reports of adverse events related to this recall. Immunocompromised individuals may be at an increased risk for invasive infections if a contaminated product is consumed. The product is used for relief of occasional constipation.
