As a doctor, you offer patients advice so they may live longer and healthier lives. Questions about sleep hygiene, exercise, eating habits, and/or psychosocial issues are common, but how often do you inquire about their seat belt use? In 2010, seat belts were estimated to have saved 12,849 lives, and an additional 3341 could have been saved if worn frequently.
