Marci Goolsby, MD

Marci A. Goolsby, MD, is a physician at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in the Women's Sports Medicine Center and assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medical College. She has served as team physician for the WNBA New York Liberty women’s professional basketball team and the US Olympic Biathlon team. She was also on the board of directors for the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. A graduate of Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine, Dr. Goolsby completed her residency in family medicine at UCLA and remained at UCLA to complete her fellowship in sports medicine. She is board certified in family medicine with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. At UCLA, she served as a team physician for the women’s basketball, women's volleyball, softball and baseball teams.
